Info On Hotels In Benidorm At Christmas

Whatsapp

Posted: Fri Aug 1, 2008 8:03pm

Hi All

We are over at christmas & thought we might spend a couple of nights in a hotel in Benidorm.
Anyone got any recommendations on any good hotels or any info how to go about booking ect.
website addresses?
We have young children so somewhere with some entertainment for them would be good.

Thanks

We spent 4 nights over Christmas in Benidorm at the hotel Poseidon Palace in 2006. It was an organised trip by coach with Rosas Tours, Quesada. Wouldn't go to that particular one with kids as there seemed to be mainly adults. Have you checked out the local papers & Rosas Tours also sold coach trips by Gandia Tours, who have a website http://www.gandiatra...theme.aspx?id=1 is their christmas selection. Think you may need to book direct for two nights only.

When I tried to book for christmas 2007 on the internet with a variety of agents such as hotels.com, expedia & last minute I found the prices looked reasonable BUT after forcing the agents to answer direct questions like "do I get gala xmas eve dinner & xmas day lunch included in that price ?" I eventually got no, I needed to get to the hotel & book these with the hotel. When I asked how much these would be they just kept saying they'd need to ask hotel & I never heard further & gave up. I know these generally bump up the cost & didn't want to book without knowing as I certainly wanted an inclusive price with it being Christmas. However, in Benidorm there are so many places selling xmas lunch at half the cost of the hotel lunch but if weather's lousy we don't want to venture out & get drenched & it DOES rain in Spain, we've experienced rain & it was OMG !!! WHERE did that lot come from ?

There are SO many good hotels in Benidorm. The best I hace stayed in is the Bali, it is the tallest hotel in europe and the food is just fantastic! The kids will love the views from the outside glass lifts! Look at the photos on www.granhotelbali.com shop around different hotel booking sites though as booking direct doesnt always get you the cheapest rate, try hotelclub.co.uk or sunshine.co.uk

HI Rachel,
We';ve stayed in the Sol Pelicanos hotel before and if I was to go back to Benidorm to stay I would deffinately (sp ) go back there.. There was a full entertainment team, kids loved it.. What it's like at xmas I don't know, but from what I've seen and heard, Benidorm does cater for the older generation through the winter.. Though do know at xmas there is a range of age groups that go
