No.

Maybe good for a student but given lap top prices, it is a bit of a white elephant to most people.

Thought about it as my Samsung tablet was getting old. Went for the ASUS Zen 10'' in the end and so far it is great. Not the lightest, prettiest etc. etc. but ok for my needs.

Yes,

I have one together with all my other devices, windows computer ,nexus ,and so on. It is quick and I use it for banking in particular as it is immune to malware ,or so I have been told

Nothing is immune to malware, it's hackable - just less so than windows, as hackers less interested. Small audience.

Horses for courses, I just couldn't find a use for it - doesn't the job of a decent laptop or an iPad - sits in a funny place....Also top spec ones not cheap.   iPad fastest of all devices for surfing and good secuity banking apps etc. Apple prices though!!
